Abel Prize
The Abel Prize is awarded annually by the King of Norway to outstanding mathematicians.

Nobel Prize
The Nobel Prizes are prizes awarded annually to people who have completed outstanding research, invented ground-breaking techniques or equipment, or made an outstanding contribution to society in physics, chemistry, literature, peace, medicine or physiology and economics.They are widely regarded as the supreme commendation in their respective subject areas.
Those honored with a Prize are known as Nobel Laureates.

Man Booker Prize
The Man Booker Prize for Fiction, also known as the Booker Prize, is one of the world's most prestigious literary prizes, awarded each year for the best original full-length novel written by a citizen of the Commonwealth of Nations or the Republic of Ireland in the English language.

Aga Khan Prize for Fiction 
The Aga Khan Prize for Fiction is awarded by the editors of The Paris Review for what they deem to be the best short story published in the magazine in a given year. No applications are accepted. The winner gets $1,000.

Person of the Year
Person of the Year is an annual issue of U.S. newsmagazine TIME that features a profile on the man, woman, couple, group, idea, place, or machine that "for better or worse, has most influenced events in the preceding year."

Ramon Magsaysay Award
Every year the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation gives away prizes to Asian individuals and organizations for achieving excellence in their respective fields. The awards are given in six categories.

* Public Service
* Community Leadership
* Journalism, Literature and Creative Communication arts
* Peace and International Understanding
* Emergent Leadership

The prize was created to commemorate Ramon Magsaysay, the late president of the Philippines.


Clio Awards
The Clio Awards are given to reward creative excellence in advertising and design. They are awarded in a number of fields, including: TV, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Integrated Campaign, Innovative Media, Design, Internet, Content & Contact, and Student work.
The awards are named for the Greek Muse of history Clio and were first given in 1959.

Miss Universe
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty contest, and the title for the winner of the contest, founded in 1952 by California clothing company Pacific Mills.

Miss World
The Miss World pageant is an international beauty pageant founded in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951.

Bafta Award 
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), is a British organisation that hosts annual awards shows for film, television, children's film and television, and interactive media.

The Cannes Film Festival
The Cannes Film Festival , founded in 1939, is considered one of the world's most prestigious film festivals. The private festival is held annually (usually in the month of May) in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France.

Academy Awards (OSCARS)
The Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, are the most prominent film awards in the United States and most watched awards ceremony in the world.

Webby Awards
Presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards are a set of awards presented to the "world's best websites". The awards have been given out since 1996. There is also a second set of awards called the People's Voice Awards for the same categories which are given by popular vote.

Grammy Awards
The Grammy Awards (originally called the Gramophone Awards, commonly abbreviated as the Grammys or GRAMMYs ), presented by the Recording Academy (an association of Americans professionally involved in the recorded music industry) for outstanding achievements in the recording industry, is one of four major music awards shows held annually in the United States.

Billboard Music Awards
The Billboard Music Awards, sponsored by Billboard magazine and held annually in December, is one of three major United States contemporary music awards shows presented each year.

ICC Awards
The ICC Awards is a set of sports awards for cricket. The awards recognise and honour the best international cricket players of the previous 12 months. The awards are sanctioned and administered by the International Cricket Council.
